Overview

Learn Amp connects to the tools your organisation already relies on, so your people, your content, and your processes all stay joined up. Whether you want employees to sign in with the credentials they already use, keep your user base automatically in step with your HR system, or bring content in from elsewhere, this is your starting point for everything integration-related.

This page is your map. It explains the categories of integration Learn Amp supports, gives you a quick-reference matrix for identity providers (the ones handling sign-in and user sync), and points you to the detailed guide for each one.

Functionality Breakdown

Learn Amp integrations fall into a few broad categories:

• Single Sign-On (SSO) – lets your users sign in to Learn Amp with their existing corporate credentials, instead of a separate Learn Amp password.

• User Provisioning – automatically creates, updates, and deactivates Learn Amp accounts based on changes in your identity provider or HR system, using SCIM 2.0 or a provider's native API.

• HR Systems – dedicated HRIS integrations (for example, Cezanne) that keep employee records and manager relationships in sync.

• Content integrations – bring external learning content into Learn Amp's catalogue.

• Communication & Productivity – tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams that connect Learn Amp to where your people already collaborate.

SSO and User Provisioning are independent of each other. SSO only handles authentication (proving who someone is); it never creates accounts. Provisioning only handles account lifecycle (creating, updating, deactivating users); it doesn't handle sign-in on its own, although several providers offer both side by side.

Supported Identity Providers

Self-serve means an Owner or Admin can configure the integration themselves, from the sidebar, by pasting in credentials. Learn Amp-assisted means you'll need to get in touch so our team can enable and configure it with you.

Not using one of these providers? OneLogin, Ping Identity, and JumpCloud are not currently supported integrations, but speak to your account manager — we're always keen to hear what you need.

A quick note on SCIM and custom setups: our SCIM 2.0 provisioning endpoint works out of the box for identity providers using standard SCIM attributes — no development work required. However, if you need a configuration we haven't supported before, particularly custom attribute mappings or bespoke provisioning behaviour, that can involve additional setup work and may come at an additional cost. If you think your requirements might be non-standard, speak to your account manager early so we can scope it properly together.

Pre-requisites

To view or configure any integration, you'll need administrator-level access to both Learn Amp and the third-party provider you're connecting.

1. From the sidebar, select the Settings gear icon.

2. Select Integrations.

3. Browse the available integrations, grouped by category.

4. Select the integration you want to set up or learn more about — each has its own dedicated article with full setup steps.

5. For self-serve integrations, follow the in-app steps to connect. For Learn Amp-assisted integrations, get in touch with your account manager or Learn Amp Support to get started.

FAQs

Q: What's the difference between SSO and User Provisioning?
SSO controls how users sign in — it authenticates people who already have a Learn Amp account. User Provisioning controls how accounts are created, updated, and deactivated in the first place. You can use either on its own, or both together for a fully joined-up experience.

Q: Do I need to set up provisioning to use SSO?
No. You can enable SSO on its own, but users will need an existing Learn Amp account (created manually, via CSV import, or through another provisioning method) before they can sign in.

Q: We use an identity provider that isn't listed here — can Learn Amp still support it?
Possibly. Our SCIM 2.0 endpoint is provider-agnostic, so any SCIM 2.0-compatible identity provider can usually provision users without any custom work. Speak to your account manager to check compatibility for SSO and provisioning.

Q: Is there always an extra cost for provisioning?
No. Standard SCIM 2.0 attribute mapping is included and works out of the box for supported providers. Costs only tend to come into play for bespoke, non-standard configurations — your account manager can talk you through this.

Q: Who can see and manage integration settings?
Only Owners and Admins. Learning Designers, Curators, Reporters, and Learners don't have access to this area.
