Go Live Date for Events
Overview
Go Live Date allows you to schedule when an event becomes visible to learners. Instead of publishing immediately, you can set a future date when the event will automatically appear in the catalogue, giving you time to prepare marketing materials, coordinate with stakeholders, or align with company announcements.
Think of it as scheduled publishing for your events.

Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
Event not visible after Go Live Date | Verify the event is published (not draft). Check the Go Live time has passed in your company timezone. |
Event visible before Go Live Date | Check if you have admin/curator permissions—you can see it, but learners can't. |
Can't find Go Live Date option | This may be in the Publishing or Visibility section of event settings. |
Notifications not sent at Go Live | Verify notification settings are configured. Check event visibility is set correctly. |
Go Live time seems wrong | Verify the timezone setting. Go Live uses company timezone, not your local timezone. |
